Streets of Saltaire

The cobbled street, houses built for workers, lamp posts and all leading to the mill chimney at Saltaire village, West Yorkshire.  This is a UNESCO Heritage site, a purpose built village for workers at the Saltaire mill which was built by Titus Salt. The mill opened in 1853 and closed in 1986.  Now a vibrant unique place to visit, for history, art and to capture the stories of what it would have been like to live and work here.
